15 godina Britpopa bez Oasisa i Blura

Povodom obilježavanja jubilarnih 15 godina od nastanka brit-pop scene koja je u Velikoj Britaniji bila vrlo rasprostranjena sredinom devedesetih godina prošloga stoljeća, 8. lipnja izlazi trostruki obljetnički CD box-set, naziva ”Common People”.

Kompilacija će sveukupno sadržavati 54 pjesme većine njenih protagonista poput bendova Suede, Pulp te Supergrass kao i njenih prethodnika James i The Stone Roses te oca Paula Wellera. No, zanimljiva je činjenica da se na kompilaciji neće naći dva najveća benda proizšla upravo iz brit-pop scene. Za Oasis i Blur nije bilo mjesta…
